Open Chronicles is an independent open-access project that prepares free English editions of medieval Latin historical writing—so readers are not blocked by paywalls, missing translations, or prose that only specialists can use.

Status
This site is live as a public home for the project. Volume 1 — Peter Tudebode's Historia de Hierosolymitano itinere — is published. Errors in published editions can be reported via the Corrections page. The library will open when the first source-faithful translation and reader’s edition are frozen for release.
What we don’t claim
- Not critical editions of the Latin.
- Not sanitized medieval religious hostility or violence.
